AOL To Bring Content to Second Life

Info World is reporting that AOL is preparing to bring its services and content to Second Life in a project dubbed AOL Pointe. 

While short on details, it appears there will be multiple sims with an extreme sports park and ampitheater suited to AOL content, such as Moviefone, AOL Music, and entertainment news site, TMZ.  More interestingly AOL apparently will use its Second Life presence "to also try out new features and research how they are received by users."

AOL is accepting applications for beta testers, with the beta test starting next week.  If you plan to sign up, you'll need to know what kind of video card, processor speed and RAM you have in your computer.
